A particular petition site is fast becoming a huge compilation of jokes, including the following classics*:

1. "I am strongly against homosexuality. What they do in private is their business and they shouldn't force it to be legalised."

Yeah, you said it's their business, didn't you?

I is confused by you words. I didn't knows that our great grand father (with a space between) migrated here with asean culture. I thinks they came long before asean was estabrished.

3. "How do we explain it to our children if we legalize homosexualism? They will grow up confused."

That's assuming that they share your inability to accept homosexuality, in which case you ought to be really delighted.

4. "Singapore is safe place to work - clean, green and good morality. Please protect this and hold on to 377A. Thank you."

Oh, so homosexuality is immoral, unclean, and environmentally unfriendly and legalizing it makes Singapore unsafe to work in. This writer sounds like a foreign talent. If so, it makes one more impressed than ever by the quality of talents Singapore is attracting.

Right . . .

In short, people can make a choice to commit crimes.
